About the Archive :: Education

To encourage the educational use of the testimonies, the Archive has produced a library of video programs which are available for loan to schools and community groups. These edited selections from survivor accounts are intended for classroom use, and several hundred of these programs are loaned to educators each year. Teacher's guides and resource kits, such as Facing History and Ourselves' Elements of Time and the Center for the Study of the Child's Life Unworthy of Life, also include testimonies from the Archive's collection. An educational version of Witness: Voices from the Holocaust with accompanying teachers' guide and teaching materials is available from www.unitedlearning.com. For more information, please see the Educational resources section of this site.
